Alex Trans Inc was incorporated in Illinois in 2008 and is based at 4737 W Lake Street on Chicago's West Side, minutes from I-290 and the city's main freight corridors. Our team of 8 runs fully equipped mobile service units that bring the repair to you.

We built this company around a simple reality of the trucking business: downtime costs money. Every hour a trailer sits broken is an hour it isn't earning — and towing it to a shop just adds cost and delay. Our job is to diagnose fast, repair on-site, and document everything so your maintenance file stands up to any audit.

Do you offer 24/7 roadside service?

Yes. Our mobile units cover the Chicagoland metro around the clock, and we dispatch units anywhere in the USA when needed. Call dispatch and have your location, unit number, and a description of the problem ready.

Do you work with owner-operators or only fleets?

Both. Fleet accounts get contract pricing and consolidated billing, but owner-operators are welcome in the shop and on mobile calls.

What payment methods do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards, fleet checks (Comchek/EFS/T-Chek), ACH, and terms for approved commercial accounts.

Can you perform annual DOT inspections?

Yes — we perform annual FHWA/DOT inspections and repair any defects found, with documentation for your maintenance file.

Do you provide repair estimates before starting work?

Yes. Scheduled work is quoted before we roll a truck, and the tech calls for approval if anything additional turns up on-site. Emergency calls are quoted a call-out fee plus parts and labor.
